DANCE CONDITIONING

Samba requires not only a knowledge of dance technique, but also physical conditioning to strengthen and lengthen muscles in order to achieve maximum range of movement and prevent injuries.

In this 8-week programme, Mishel will take you through tried and tested techniques that she herself has used in prepartion to perform as an International Samba Muse at the Rio Carnival (1km of dancing along the Sambadromo in 30C heat!)

Mixing Pilates, strength-training, cardio and body-weight exercises, this class will improve your overall fitness, strength and flexibility.

Please note that you do not need to be a dancer to participate. All levels of fitness welcome.

Please wear comfortable gym wear and running shoes, and bring a towel and water bottle.

SAMBA FIT

We will cover a mixture of Samba technique, dance cardio fitness, weight training, core strength, Pilates, Brazilian butt exercises and Yoga!

BRAZILIAN ABS/BUTT/THIGHS

Throughout the Brazilian ABT course, we will cover a mixture of booty-building exercises including lunges, squats, leg strength/toning (with ankle weights), Pilates-based core strength and Yoga for flexibility!
